Business Problem & Solution

The problem Partner & Property Verification (KYC) solves in the hospitality ecosystem and how this downscaled demo proves it.

Why a verification gate

Before a listing goes live, the marketplace must know the host is who they claim and the property is real. Partner & Property Verification is that gate: it runs simulated document, identity, ownership, address, and sanctions checks on a host's submission, scores the risk, and — on an owner pass — unlocks the listing, feeding partner onboarding (#32) and the trust/analytics surfaces (#13).

What the demo proves

It proves the listing-live gate end-to-end: a KYC case carries seeded, immutable per-check results; the metered stage scores the risk; and the owner's decision flips the listing to live (or blocks it), emitting the events the onboarding flow consumes. It simplifies the checks themselves — they are a deterministic simulation in the prototype — and uses only synthetic submissions: document types are labels only, with no real documents or PII.
