Business Problem & Solution

The problem Payments & Partner Settlements solves in the hospitality ecosystem and how this downscaled demo proves it.

The money rail

Every booking moves money, and every partner is owed a payout net of commission and tax. Payments & Partner Settlements is the ecosystem's accounting surface: it records a capture per booking and rolls captures into weekly partner settlements — gross, commission, tax, net payout — that an owner approves or holds. It is the one place money is reconciled, and it is the place to be loud about honesty.

What this proves — and what is simulated

It proves the settlement arithmetic and the approve/hold lifecycle end-to-end, reconciled against the same shared bookings the rest of the ecosystem uses. Every monetary action is simulated and clearly labelled — there is no real payment processor, no real bank, no real payout. Each capture carries a simulated marker; the payout confirmation is an in-app notification, not a real message.
