    Trigger → redemption

    An owner creates (optionally AI-drafted) a deal; a guest applies the code at checkout. A valid redemption ticks the deal's usage, prices the discount, and emits promo.applied on the event spine. Owner deals are canonical; a viewer's deals and usage ticks are credential-scoped and cleared on reset.

    How it ripples through the ecosystem

    The live-deals rail is reusable on the marketplace consumer surfaces, and the discount lands on the shared booking — so the couponed-bookings and discount-given analytics read the same booking truth the host owns. Audiences from segmentation (#11) and delivery via the notifications centre (#35) are the natural upstream and downstream of a promo campaign.
