Signing in + opening the app
The ecosystem is gated. Sign in as the universal owner (admin / admin@123) or the read-only viewer (front-desk actions are available to operators, with viewer effects ephemeral). Open PMS / Front Desk from the host launcher (On-Property Operations zone); it renders in the unified operator console.

Working the front desk
On the 'Front desk' tab, pick a date to see Arrivals / In-house / Departures plus the open-folio count. Check an arrival in: the AI-assist suggestion proposes the next available room, the store assigns it, marks the room occupied, and opens a folio with the room charge. On the 'Room status' tab, switch property to see the room grid with status badges and the next-best-room suggestion. On 'Folios', post incidental charges (F&B / spa / minibar / laundry — simulated) and 'Check out + settle'.

The inspector + honest labels
The dark 'Behind the scenes' inspector carries the shared trace. PMS runs no metered model, so its honesty story is simulation, not cost: a 'simulated' note sits on the folio surface, the room suggestion is labelled simulated, and check-out settlement is plainly a simulated payment. All such labels stay close to the action and in the inspector — never dressed up as real.
